Frequently Asked Questions - FAQs

How often should I visit the dentist?

We recommend checkups every six months for most patients, though some may need more frequent visits based on their oral health status. Patients with gum disease, high cavity risk, or certain medical conditions may benefit from more frequent cleanings and exams.

Do you see emergency patients?

Yes, we reserve time each day for dental emergencies. If you have severe pain, trauma, or urgent dental needs, contact us through our Emergency Care channel. We also provide after-hours emergency contact for existing patients.

What’s the difference between Invisalign and traditional braces?

Invisalign uses clear, removable aligners that are nearly invisible, while traditional braces use metal brackets and wires. Invisalign is more comfortable and convenient for many patients, but traditional braces may be better for complex cases.

Do you accept my HMO provider?

We work with most major insurance providers including Maxicare, Medicard, Intellicare, Philcare, Avega, and ValueCare. Contact our office to verify your specific coverage and benefits.

How do HMO benefits work?

Most insurance plans cover preventive care (cleanings, exams) and basic treaments (fillings) at 100%. Major treatments (crowns, bridges) are typically covered at 50%. We’ll help you understand your benefits and maximize your coverage.

How long does teeth whitening last?

Professional whitening typically lasts 1-3 years, depending on your diet and habits. Avoiding staining foods and drinks, using whitening toothpaste, and touch-up treatments can help maintain your results.
